The Many Faces of Wesley
I was taking pictures of Wesley today, of course ;), and I got some pretty funny pictures so I went through all my photos and pulled out some of his goofiest for your enjoyment.
Here we have a very normal looking Wesley...
And here is our "gangsta" Wesley, the hat doesn't quite fit him yet.
I'm not exactly sure what he's doing here.
Playing with his tongue.
A face Wesley makes often...he will mimic you if you make this face.

He had just been munching on his hand.

Sometimes he just gives you a dead stare.
He started to fall asleep after all the playing today...
Ahh! No eyes! Almost every time he falls asleep his eyes are slightly open and you can see them rolling around.
The big finish...the camera must have made a curious noise.
Well...we are 2 months along and counting..and I have over 200 photos (I should probably go through them and just keep the best ones!).

Hello!
Hey everyone, this blog will be mostly to keep everyone updated on Wesley, who is growing like crazy. He started smiling a couple weeks ago and I was finally able to get some decent pictures of him smiling. I think my sleep deprivation is finally starting to balance out as Wesley is getting on a good schedule. He will now go to bed between 10 and 12 most nights and sleep for about 5 hours.
In other news, Scott was accepted in to grad school at San Jose State University. We don't know if we can even afford it yet and I would have to find a job down there first. I was also told last night that if the levy on May 20th does not pass (this is the second time it's on the ballot, it failed the first time) then I will not have a job next year. So we are really hoping California works out but it also means I have to look for a job up here just in case! Ok, enough business, here are some great pictures of Wesley!
The first time I really got to see Wesley. Scott got to hold him before me :( but they were still working on me so I didn't really have a choice!

He calmed down once he got some clothes on.

After a bath, this was the first time he didn't cry when we gave him one!
Sleeping in the crib, once he figured out he could spread all his limbs out he didn't like to be swaddled anymore.

Whenever he smiles he makes the cutest noise that sounds almost like the beginning of a giggle.
A goofy little grin.
Along with smiling he likes to open his mouth really big and squeal.
This has got to be the cutest picture I have ever seen!
Well those are it for now, we actually have tons more but I had to pick and choose since really most of them are pretty much the same! We will post more pictures of course and soon we will get some video of the growing boy up here:)
