Summertime

So, as we have no air conditioning, the last few days have not been very fun!  Wesley has been a trooper though, while a little fussy at the hottest point of the day it doesn't seem to bug him too much.  I wish we could take him swimming, but no sunscreen until he's six months old!  So we can go to an indoor pool, but where's the fun in that during the summer?!  This past weekend Scott was at a lan party so I spent the whole weekend alone with Wesley.  My parents and brother came over Saturday to hang out for the day, it was fun, though the heat was annoying!  I didn't get any pictures but I have some video I might get on here someday.  I swear my dad got Wesley to giggle but we can't seem to get him to do it again!  He also discovered his feet and spends a good amount of time each day just grabbing them.  Oh and Scott started his new job today!

Play time, he's always trying to grab his toys but he hasn't quite                             figured out how to do it.

He likes to eat hands...anybody's hands.

And he just crapped out.

He rolls over all the time now, even if he doesn't really want                               to...he'll find himself on his tummy and just start crying.

Still sort of happy on his tummy...

And now I give up!

Cutest Baby Ever.

So we were playing with Wesley with stuffed animals for the first time, he just recently started grabbing things.  He was all over the toys and of course putting them in his mouth whenever he could.  But I got some of the cutest pictures of him and just had to show you all (the last one is our favorite).

School's Out!

School is finally out and I get to spend the summer with Wesley! The end of school went well, I did find it slightly annoying to get back to work and things weren't where I left them and I had to deal with all the kids complaining, but we got to the end all in one piece! This year was different than last in that the kids actually liked me I think, haha! I had a lot of requests to sign yearbooks (none last year), got a dozen hugs and even a few gifts. And when I came to work on the last day of school there was a "We will miss you" poster on the wall of my building from some of my 8th graders. I brought Wesley with me and he had much fun staring at the goofy kids who tried everything to get him to smile. It was good fun, and since I am leaving one school to go work at another I got a bit of a farewell from the school I'm leaving. And now my summer plans include playing with Wesley, got a few doctor's appointments for him and the dog...we are going to a concert in a few weeks (Jimmy Eat World) and I have some work I have to do to complete my contract. So I won't be too bored! Oh yeah, and Wesley can roll over both ways now!! We knew he could because he'd be on his back then next time we'd look at him he'd be on his tummy, but we finally got to see it on Saturday when we were at a graduation party.

Here's Wesley with Chelsea Burnes at her HS graduation party:

And here's one of Wesley's wonderful goofy faces:

Mariner's Game

We went to a Mariner's game last night with some friends and brought Wesley with us. This was his first big outing and I was a little worried about the cold but he was a trooper. Acutally he fell asleep about halfway through in my baby carrier and I just draped a blanket over us.

Yay Mariner's Game!

Mmm, hand!

At the game, the brief period of time he was awake!

Our view...we had actual seats, not bleachers.

After this he took a bottle and completely passed out, we managed to keep warm and have fun eventhough the M's totally lost :(
